Can I swim in the lake or snorkel while I am here?

No, swimming is not permitted in the lake due to the presence of high-speed safety boats and wing foils, where the craft have a sharp blade in the water, connection with which would cause serious injury. Controlled swimming is permitted at designated times during official sessions.

Can I do ‘Crabbing’ in the lake or use the jetties for that type of activity?

No, crabbing is not permitted in the lake due to the dangers posed by people using the jetty who are not involved in watersports, also due to the dangers of crab lines to other lake users.
