ACTIVE ALLSPORTS DISABILITY

FEBRUARY HOLIDAY PROGRAMME 2026

The Active Allsports holiday disability activity programmes offers children and young people with a disability or additional need the opportunity to stay healthy and active through the holidays.

Parents, carers and siblings are welcome to all sessions. The full timetable and activity information can be viewed below, please read before calling to confirm and pay for your booking.  

Pre booking and payment is required for most activities.

Additional activity information 

Please read before making a booking:

  • This programme is for the ages 5-19 years, unless it is the family swim.
  • Limited spaces are available for all activities
  • Payment must be made at time of booking
  • Bookings must be made via the Leisure telephone team on 0151 606 2010
  • Siblings are welcome but must be booked and paid onto the activity
  • Long hair should be tied back
  • Participants should bring their own refreshments
  • Participants must wear appropriate clothing for the activity they are attending
  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the activity

BOWLING

  • Session provides two games of indoor ten-pin bowling.
  • Hire shoes will be available so socks are advised, participant can wear trainers if preferred 

Meeting Place: meet and register with a member of the AA team at the reception area

FAMILY SWIM SESSIONS

  • Fun recreational pool session
  • Please note that parents and carers will need to enter and support their children in the water
  • Arrive 10 minutes before the session to change.
  • Cost £3.00 per Child with adults attending for free.
  • Max of 5 persons per booking
  • All children who are unable to swim, all under 8 year olds and all children with complex needs MUST be accompanied by a parent/carer
  • Pool hoist available on site

Tennis

Join us at Bidston Sports & Activity Centre for a session of enjoyment and engagement. This session is all about tennis made to be fun.
Equipment will be provided.

Meeting Place: The Oval leisure centre reception.

Trampolining

This specially adapted trampoline session includes learning basic skills of trampolining. Additional help from parents/carers be required to spot around the trampoline.

  • Limited spaces are available
  • Siblings are welcome
  • All participants should wear clothing that is appropriate for physical activity. Nonslip socks are recommended for this session
  • Participants to bring their own refreshments
  • Long hair should be tied back

Wheels Extreme

Fun beginners session offering inline skating, scooter riding and skateboarding activities tailored to the abilities of the group.

  • The activities will be delivered indoors and the staff will offer support and teach children and young people to skate using the variety of equipment that are supplied by Wheels Extreme.
  • Please note that participants will be required to wear a helmet and protective join pads which will be provided.

Tam O’Shanter Farm – Bidston

Join us at the farm and visit a wide range of animals including pigs, goats, ponies, sheep, alpacas, ducks and more. All participants will explore the animal’s habitats and have the opportunity to feed and pet the fantastic Alpacas , Pigs and lots more animals. With lots of Halloween themed activities within the farm.

The farm provides an enjoyable and educational experience for children and adults.

Meeting Place: meet and register with a member of the AA team at the front entrance of the Farm.
