Active Wirral Gym facilities are available at the following leisure centres; Bidston Sports and Activity Centre, Leasowe, Oval, West Kirby and Guinea Gap Leisure Centre. In December 2025 just under one million pound was invested in brand new gym equipment whcih has been installed in all gyms (excluding Europa where new equipment was previously installed).
All gym users are required to be registered and complete a compulsory gym induction provided free of charge with a live subscription eg Invigor8 membership, Health pass or Introduction pass.
Once an induction and health based questionnaire is completed, customer accounts are updated ro provide access. Gym opening times, access and prices can be viewed below.
Payment options include free access with an Invigor8 membership or cusromers may pay per visit.
