Customer Notice – July 2026

Due to essential health and safety maintenance works in the swimming pool areas at Guinea Gap Leisure Centre, the following temporary closure remains in place:

Training Pool Closed from: Monday 15 June 2026

Leisure Pool closed from Tuesday 14th July 2026

Invigor8 Members & Swimming Lessons

Invigor8 members and casual users can access swimming pools at Active Wirral leisure centre including Europa, Leasowe, Oval and West Kirby Concourse. Alternatively members can request to suspend a subscription, please contact the central team in writing at bookingsandinformation@wirral.gov.uk

Some swimming lessons may be impacted, customers will be contacted with information regarding lessons in advance of any changes.

We would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding while these important works are carried out. Updates and further information will be shared as soon as possible.

Online Booking Platform Upgrade

Due to an essential system upgrade, the online booking platform will be unavailable today between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

If you need to make a booking during this time, please call our Central Team or book directly at the Leisure Centre.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Price Increase 1st April 2026 – Customer Notice

A price increase for activities, facilities, products, swimming lessons and Invigor8 memberships will be implemented in line with WBC Fees and Charges from Wednesday 1^st April 2026.

Invigor8 memberships prices can be viewed here and remain a cost effective way to access a wide range of fitness facilities and activities.
